The El Capitán is basically a Manhattan with Pisco instead of American whiskey. We like to use the aromatically strong Barsol Acholado Pisco for this cocktail, which counteracts the sweet, red vermouth sufficiently without drowning it out. With its bittersweet fruitiness, the El Capitán is the perfect aperitif drink for a Peruvian evening, for example!
INGREDIENTS
- 60ml Barsol Pisco – Acholado
- 60ml Red Sweet Vermouth
PREPARATION
- Shake both ingredients with ice.
- Strain the El Capitán into a cocktail glass or martini glass.
