Pisco Sour

The most famous Pisco-Cocktail, invented around 1916 by the american bartender Victor Morris in Lima, Peru, was inspired by the Whiskey Sour. Bitters and egg whites were added in the 1930s.

  • 60ml Barsol Pisco - Quebranta
  • 30ml fresh lime juice (juice of a normal lime)
  • 20ml Sugar Syrup (or dissolve 2 teaspoons white sugar in water)
  • 1/2 fresh egg white
  • 2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters or Amargo Chuncho Bitters

  • To prepare this refreshing classic cocktail recipe, pour all ingredients except for the bitters into a shaker. Add big ice cubes and shake vigorously.
  • Strain into a Pisco Sour glass and add a few dashes of bitters. Finally, enjoy this delicious Pisco Sour!
  • Hint: If you are preparing more than one Pisco Sour, we recommend using a blender.
